At Dental Professionals, we believe nobody should be walking around with a painful or broken tooth. We do our best to see and treat emergencies the same day—whether you have been a lifetime patient or it’s your first time seeing us.
How soon can I be seen?
We offer same-day emergency services at both of our practice locations. If at all possible, we will work to see you on a same-day basis and to get you out of pain and back to functioning.
A hurting tooth can be debilitating—preventing sleep, proper nutrition, and your ability to work effectively. Our doctors will work with you to diagnose the source of your pain, educate you about your options, and help you get comfortable and healthy.
Broken Tooth – Call (855) 263-4605
A big presentation for work. An interview lunch. A family wedding. For many patients, a cracked or broken tooth can be the biggest emergency, even if it’s not yet painful. At Dental Professionals, we understand that you need to be able to s
mile, to speak in public, to eat in social settings, and we will work with you to quickly find both short and long term solutions to keep you moving, wherever work and life need you.
What to do if a tooth is knocked out: Call (855) 263-4605
For permanent teeth that are knocked out, rinse the tooth and put it back in the socket. If you can’t get the tooth back in the socket, place it in a container of milk, water or saliva to keep it moist. Do not touch the roots (handle the tooth by the crown) and don’t brush the tooth. Contact us IMMEDIATELY for information and emergency treatment – the sooner you get to us, the more likely we can save your tooth!
For baby teeth that are unexpectedly knocked out, leave them out and contact us immediately for instructions.
Other Emergency Dental Situations:
- Substantial Toothache
- Significant Sensitivity
- Swollen or Sore Gums
- Jaw Pain
- Broken, Cracked, or Chipped Teeth
- Broken Fillings
- Lost Crown
Pain Free Emergencies
Some dental emergencies may not cause pain initially. For example, a cracked tooth may not hurt, but it may lead to nerve damage in the roots. For this reason, all of the listed conditions need immediate attention, whether or not pain is present.
We are here to help. We urge you to call us at the first sign of a dental emergency!
